Today we took a drive up the Waitaki Valley, the first in over two years. The countryside is beginning to look Autumnal but will be more vibrant in a few weeks (an excuse for another trip ! ) This was just a quick snap through the car windscreen as we were on the return journey. I have done a little 'window cleaning' to remove a few blemishes on the glass.

The colors are great, the day looks wonderful for being out in, and you did well on the windshield. I would not have guessed you shot this through the glass.

Lyn, when taken into account that this image is taken trough a car window, the result is surprisingly good.
See by your very fine picture that Mother Nature on the southern hemisphere has a pallette with fine Fall tones as well. Within a couple of weeks the Fall tones are even more intense.
