We went walking in our local public gardens today. It was difficult to get a shot of this bird as he lives in an enclosure with inch wide netting. The editing is to hide a big chunk of netting in the upper right. I did not do him justice but his colours are true to life.

You know me, Lyn. You're thinking, "Oh my, what is Roger going to say?" I could say lovely shot thanks for sharing or I could say the pheasant looks delicious. Let me think about it, and I'll get back to you. As an afterthought I'll say that that it's an excellent shot. I wish we have some of these little birdies around here.
