Lake Pukaki. I have been sifting through my files. I hope I have not posted this before.I have not taken any new photos since May -I seem to have lost any incentive.
I'm sure your old files are wonderful but it's a shame about new shots. I too went through something like that but have recently been back out and have found it's good for my soul and my outlook.
Lyn, my photographic activity has also diminished. Not because of a reduced interest, but forced by more limited physical conditions. I don't remember seeing this photograph of you before. If that's the case, don't worry, because it's stimulating for the brain and a pleasure to see it (again).
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Lyn, I am thrilled that you were sifting through your files. This is a tremendously stunning and beautiful capture. WOW. The composition is perfect, the light ... excellent timing. I could look at this for hours. Favorite.
It's a bit like writer's block where the author is either unable to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Using my mobile phone has rekindled my interest. I have been surprised at what can be achieved.
