This was taken from the same spot as my post yesterday, looking out from the left of Holmes wharf, and to a much more interesting sky. Holmes Wharf opened in 1907 for ships of up to 10,000 tons. It was last used by cargo vessels in 1974. It has very recently had the decking replaced making it a more popular place for a stroll. Today would not have been a good day to be there as we have had gale force winds, trees down, gardens damaged and power outages . Typical Spring weather !

---Typical Spring weather---
Lyn, in my country autumn is often called the storm season. This doesn't alter the fact that we also occasionally have to deal with stormy weather in the other seasons.
When I look at your, otherwise beautiful, photograph, one would not say that you recently was dealing with stormy weather with corresponding storm damage. However, I hope that the damage was limited and that there were no injuries (or worse).
