This is the first thing seen when you enter the gardens through the main gates. The fountain is the Craig Memorial Fountain and was the result of a bequest of 500 pounds by an Irish settlor James Craig for that specific purpose. It is Italian Carrara marble and was opened with a grand fete (6000 visitors!) in April 1914.

Lyn, a wonderful and well maintained garden. Because of the flowers (in particular the tulips) and flowering shrubs, one can clearly see that it's springtime at the southern hemisphere.
