Lyn, although the depth and purity of the water has an effect, the color is mainly determined by the color of the overhead sky. In your case, the cloudless conditions helped you take this beautiful spring capture. I also see that the Hibiscus bush in the foreground is in bloom. It contributes to this fine composition.
