That old tree adds some really nice color and draws our eyes right into the shot of interesting leftovers on the sandy beach. I can envision that fence having once been erected and the lobster pots filled with lobsters. I can imagine a red Christmas tree too, though by now I would have thought it would have lost its needles. A most interesting image and a nice change from flowers and birds. lol

There is also some storm fencing all neatly rolled up as well. Maybe these things are not just discarded. Nice capture with the earth tones. I am sure birds will be back and flowers will grow around these items.

Great color and texture going on here! I think it would help focus in on this if you could crop out alot of the background. The lobster pot, fencing and old Christmas tree are what this photo is all about. Nice beach finds, Laurie.

Great eye for detail. I like the textures and subdued colors on the beach. Reminds me of changing seasons and times to come.

Only in New England would you find such a rare combination on the beach :) I like this capture, Laurie..

I too, was drawn in by the color of the old Christmas tree. Some interesting finds and wonderful lighting. I also like the grass in the foreground poking out of the sand. Great post, Laurie! :)
