This is a lovely country scape capture. A little bit of blowout in the sky/clouds, but the scene itself is nicely taken. tigs=^..^=

Hi Tigs, thanks for the comments and critique.
I took this photo a few years back and it was before I really knew how to use the histogram and/or highlights 'blinkies'.
It's also a good example of where a graduated filter might have been beneficial and preferable to trying to edit it post process.
Talking of critique, there doesn't appear to be much of it on this site. What are peoples view on having their images critiqued? I personally don't mind as long as it's constructive...

Conwy is one of my favourite places to go!...And I also have lots of fond memories of Snowdonia too...Went up in the mountain train last time!

I like the viewpoint for this, along with the shadows flicking across those trees!....

Critique on here is hard to come, although many would applaud the return as it once was...........These days...most just post, say the 'Normal' comment then go on to another image!...

Dunstickin, for a photographer, Conwy is an amazing place. It has a lot of everything close at hand - castles, sea, mountains and wildlife, etc.
As for the critiquing issue, I've only been on here for a relatively short time, but tend to agree with you about the 'Normal' comments...
