This shot was taken in a ravine near my house. I had planned to go down and take pictures of the fall colours, instead I found this pack of six deer eating grass. See if you can find all six, one is lying down in the grass (hint).

Great shot, I find this to be more of a landscape shot instead of an animal shot even though there are some there, they do make great focus points, nice shot!

Well, I'm glad you didn't disturb them and stayed back to get this great shot...love the mix of color and the two opposing angles of the hills..the deer add even more interest to the scene...nice work.:Pat.

Ok ... perfect title.

It does remind very well, of the incoming season. You can feel the coolness of the air ... the colours ... and I really like the lines and angles of the image.

Nice.

Love this setting with it's herd of deer. What a great find. Love the yellows in the trees. they just bristle with color. The entire hillside is a pleasant array of color. Then the fawn colored grasses on the left provide an appropriate contrast. Well done.
