This photo was taken on Fathers Day 06, in Kananaskis. It was a great day to take pictures, the sun was shining and there was nothing but beautiful blue sky overhead. I used my trusty Canon Powershot S3 IS to get this one, and I think it turned out well. Quite a few shots were taken today, so i'll be uploading quite a few in the next week. Please let me know what you think of this. Enjoy.

Beautiful - makes me think of the wonders Lewis and Clark might have seen as they came from the deep forest. Nice job -

Beautiful. What a gorgeous scene. The greens are all complimentary and blend well together. The slight lighting on the tree trunks in the foreground adds just the right touch.
And the background moutains with their streaks of snow gracing their tops and sliding down the sides just capps everything off.
Great work.

Hmm ... a little undecided on this one. My thinking is, as much as I like the framing of the fir trees for the scene here ... I wonder about opening it up a bit with a few steps forward? Just a suggestion.

But ... wow ... that is one gorgeous piece of real estate and you not done it any injustice with your creative take despite my aforementioned drivel. I do agree with Pat above, in that having captured some of the reflected sunlight on the right-hand side trees succeeds in balancing out your composition.

Nice work and once again ... your work has not disappointed. Post more ... please.
