In the village of Celles,close to Dinant, you will find the fairy tale like castle of Vêves. The castle was built on a rocky outcrop in 1410 and although various alternations have been made , none spoil the fairy tale outlook of the castle. Celles - Province of Namur - Belgium

Really lovely, with an unusual pale blue to the sky. It's a pity about the pruned trees, but there's nothing one can do about that... the shot was still very much worth taking. I suppose even in fairy stories they pruned trees...

Hubert, I think this image is, up till now, the best in your 'Aged Pride' series. Not only because of the castle and the blossoms, but for showing a piece of the surroundings as well. To me it make's your image more interesting. Regards, Cornelius.

Fantastic scenery. This is the best picture I have seen in a while... I love the pink blooms in front, the cloudy sky, and the peaks of the castle in the distance.

Ik denk dat ik deze de mooiste van de drie vind. De andere waren ook goed, en hielpen het detail in het kasteel te laten zien, maar deze geeft ook een mooi overzicht van de omgeving waarin het geplaatst is.
Mooi serie, ik hoop dat er meer komen.
Zelf ben ik vandaag ook naar een kasteel geweest in mijn omgeving, ik zal ze van de week hier plaatsen. Ik had geen geluk, want de grootste toren was totaal verborgen onder de steigers voor een 5 jarige verbouwing. Maar ik vat dat maar op als een uitdaging om dat weg te werken, geeft me weer leuk edit werk :-)
