The private property "Regelsbrugge Castle" (1935) at Aalst is built in Neo-traditional style.It was designed by architect Emile Van Overstraeten from Ypres (Ieper). Aalst-East Flanders-Belgium.

Based on my own experience like to say Hubert, that there are two reasons that make it very complicated to make an optimal image of this castle. The first one is that it's situated at a private property which doesn't allow you to choose the best possible position to capture it and the second one is that the castle is surrounded by woods, giving difficult lighting conditions. Have to say however that, to me, you've achieved the best possible result. Thanks for this very fine post!

I like this shot, maybe it's the depth that adds to the air of mystery that always seems to surround old private mansions such as this.

What a cool old castle! I think your angle is perfect. I wish it was a little more focused, but I think Cornelius covered that part. Nice post!

like the composition.. wish the castle was more focused and that it was darker but a good shot nevertheless. I agree with Cornelius that you achieved the best that conditions would allow!
