Here's a shot of the twisting rocky pathway leading to the top of Croagh Patrick, the famous mountain in the west of Ireland where St. Patrick is said to have stop atop and banished all snakes from Ireland. It is nearly 3000 foot high and is a tough climb, taking about 2 hours at a steady pace. This picture looks down onto the winding path that leads up to the summit, which I was near when I took this.

Ah Thomas, - I've climbed this holy mountain many times in my youth - it's a killer, especially that last section with all the loose stones and shale.

Excellent perspective in your photo and good clarity to see the arduous path you've trodden. I'd like to have seen the contrast punched up a little more but it's a mighty fine capture just as it stands.

In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

A marvelous scene Thomas, but Oh what a tough climb! It's super rough trying to climb over all the rocks and boulders. Plenty of texture in this view. Some pretty colours in those rocks. Interesting image to see, and thanks!

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)
