About eight thirty in the morning, in Manchester UK, around November time last year. The crystals are fairly sharp and the light shining through the thining leaves adds some warmth.

Nothing revolutionary. Using a low F-number (large aperture) on cameras produces a low depth of field so the plane of focus is quite narrow. Hence there is intentional blur on the foreground and background elements and only the leaf across the middle stays sharp.

This is a really stunning close up. its a shame about the blur in the foreground but a grea capture all the same

Coolsey. Great focus, depth of field and clarity. Good composition. Just fantastic focus. Wonderful, wonderful capture of such pretty crystals.
