A straight-forwards macro shot of some moss on a stone step in my garden. I would probably have gone for a slightly greater depth of field if I did it again, so more points of interest would be in focus. Even with digital technology, I don't always take enough snaps :-) My desktop icons fit in nicely on the left, over the pebbles, as a bonus.

Fantastic detail and textures. The only thing I'd suggest is to get more of it in focus. There's a lot to see here...I just wish I could see more of it clearly!

Rich, when I saw this I wished it was more central in the frame, but then I read your description and saw that you had your desktop icons on the left so it made sense. I agree with you that a greater depth of field would have been nice but interesting nonetheless!
