Taken (1st October 2009, 6:05pm) when walking along Praia do Guincho, in Portgual. This beach is the location of numerous national and international surfing and windsurfing competitions, due to the relentless wind that blows up good waves. There were some great photographic opportunities that evening, with the low angle of the sun, rock formations and patterns in the sand. More images to come.....

Wow Richard! I love all the texture in this shot! The low sun is hitting those rock structures just right. The sea and beach in the background are oh so lovely too.
