After an ascension of 5.6 km and a little walk of 1.2 km on top of Mt Albert, QC, Canada. You get the choice of either going down the way we came which was more abrupt or down this valley for a good 10.5 km of walk in a rocky and muddy path. We were told by old trekkers that this descent was easier than the way we came from so we choosed the longer way. We discovered it wasn't as easy as they convinced us but it was surely as spectacular!

Oh yes this must have been a spectacular hike indeed ! but mind where you put your feet, it is easy to hurt yourself on such tracks as i found out myself in the Alps.
Great picture and thanks for sharing.

neat story behind the shot! :-D i really like it! i would have liked to see a bit closer view of the visible part of the trail i guess you could call it... to make the subject clear. But the clarity (at full view especially) is fantastic and I'm sure this was quite a trip for you!

Glad you made it down in one piece to tell the tale of the trail!

Nice shot.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Nice pic. The entire photo seems to be quite sharp except for the background mountains where the UV haze is the real distance gauge. The sunny and shady areas help add contrast to the greens and browns. A quality photo.
