A day spent in Braga, Portugal. There was this BBQ nearby where my mum and I were invited to. While my mum went for a coffee with the other ladies in the afternoon, I went up the hill to a sanctuary dedicated to Virgin Mary, the "Santuário do Sameiro". Outside there were 2 angel statues, one of them was this broken one. I was lucky to be there on someone's wedding, which explains the rose petals. Just couldn't wait to share this one with you! June, 2008. :D

Interesting pic. I always like B&W and monotone color photos since they allow you to get away with very little differential color contrast. However, it's always harder to tell how sharp a sepia pic is as the foreground (broken angel & rose petals) of this one seems much sharper than the railing, lights and the statue. Overall a nice pic.

Interesting capture. Think I would have brought the f/g petals in closer and upped the contrast a bit. The Lamps w/o the floodlights would have been nice as well, but not much you can do about that. jmo

Very nice, interesting capture. I would have liked to see it in color, but I like it this way, too. Thanks for sharing this.

Very nice composition. Love the sepia tone.

I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet... so I says to him, "Hey brother, ya wanna sell those shoes?"
