It's not Friday here yet SAM. Perhaps you should check your calendar. Remember secret agents needs sleep.
Cool shot.

---I think this is Friday---

It's very clever from you to check this way whether we are still 'sharp' or not, lol.

As said above, it's a petunia indeed, SAM. It's a hybrid derived from the 'Petunia violaceae'.
So, it's not a nice F²I (Foofy Friday Image) but within half an hour (local Holland time, lol) a nice FTI (Foofy Thursday Image) indeed.

Regards, Cornelius.

It wasn't Friday when you posted this foofy SAM but it is now, Lol perhaps being in the sunlight disorientated you. (o: Either way you took an excellent foofy without a flash, now that must have been hard. )o;

Edit: SAM must be driving me bonkers it's only Thursday LOL

You know, SAM, I don't know very much about flowers. I know that they're pretty and they smell good, or at least some of them do. I know that this is a purple petunia. If you don't know what day it is and you don't know what kind of flower this is, then I might suggest that you stay inside during the day. As a certified vampiress, those nighttime shots are fantastic. This one is just as good as your nighttime shots, but the sunlight has taken its toll on your brain function, which we know has always been somewhat suspect..

I must be looking at it wrong, cause I'm seeing Sunday. Lovely colours and nice details in the photo, SAM. I like the composition and DoF in the photo. I might be tempted to clone or layer in some colour into the upper right corner to get rid of the blank space. Good work and thanks for sharing.
