of my late uncle who has been an amateur photographer, just like me only much better. This camera is some 47 - 50 years old. Name is Zorka-4, USSR make. If we trace fingerprints on the screws and other elements, they all belong to my uncle [1904-1981]. This is just a part of what was left for me by my beloved uncle. All the rest is in my head and heart. SAM

A touching and beautifully taken tribute to your uncle (and I write as an uncle 6 times over and a great-uncle to 12). My first SLR was a Russian Zenith which was a 21st birthday present back in 1974.

What remains in the head is the most important part of the inheritance Marzena. I too had a Russian camera which I bought in 1970 when I was on the Black Sea run. It was a solid and good camera. Nice shot of this reminder of your uncle.

What a lovely keep sake and some lovely memory's for you as well .You did your uncle justice this is a smart capture and the detail is stunning alone with very good composition too.Plus I love to see these old cameras I have two a Zenith and Minolta. They were given to me from my farther in_law yes he is alive still but is eye sight is not great any more and he new I loved photography and back in them day I could not afford one myself so i was over them moon when he gave me them is self went to digital before me lol.Great photo and Thank you for sharing.

This is a wonderful shot of a well kept camera. I love images of cameras and also keep my Grandfathers oldie close-by.
