Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.
lol, not really, I still have a lot that I did before joining Caedes, and I'm still fresh to this site, lol.
None of my images have moved from New Images category ;)
Great image! I didn't see the film, but know about it of course. I wanted to link to the online game, but my browser keeps crashing when I try to access the site which links to the site which features the game (I think). Will see if I can find a way around this.
Green seems the perfect colour thinking of the old green on black screens. It looks like a swirling, curving well. Once you tiptoe even slightly beyond the edge, it just carries you inexorably downwards. And, deep, deep, deep down, the omniscient eye into which you _will_ fall and to which you _will_ succumb...
Two questions, then:
1) how did you escape? Surely running away was a _bit_ more complex that hiding somewhere in the nearby allotments...
2) how do you know you escaped?
The site describes the game thus:
"Strange New World is based on a scenario portrayed in the film The Matrix (but it is not endorsed or in any other way approved by the makers or producers of the film).
"When you start Strange New World, a scenario will unfold where you will be in contact with someone who lives outside the Matrix. What this means will become clear as you progress through the activity.
"Your journey through Strange New World will take around 10 minutes. At the end, you will be able to read, if you choose, about the philosophical ideas that underlie the activity. If you prefer, you can just take the trip and chew over the implications for yourself.
"Please note: This activity makes use of a number of sound effects. Consequently, you should play with your computer speakers switched on (your enjoyment will be much diminished if you do not). But you might want to think twice about playing this if you're at work (unless, of course, you have very understanding employers!)."
@Margali:
I was rescued from the Matrix by others...I took the red pill, not the blue pill, when he offered me both.
;)
Very interesting information you got there. Running away was simple, as I said, I took the red pill and things changed.
:)
