A monastery in Germany (Rüdesheim) were the monks several hundred years ago lived a life in celibacy and contemplative peace. Maybe you can feel the quiscent athmosphere created by the symmetry of the building an the light shining through the open windows. But considering the fact that they also was a wineproducer, maybe it wasn't always that peaceful and innocent..

What a very serene picture. You can feel the age and history of the monastry, and almost hear the echos of your footsteps. One of my very favourite pictures so far. I adore old buildings, and this is just stunning.
