This is the second shot of the hoodoos near Drumheller. I took this one after the sun poped its head back out from behind the clouds. We were about to leave because the light was bad and then it did that, and they started looking alot better.

This one I like better because there is a 'frame' of reference for the subject. It reminds me a lot of Cappadocia. The shot is very moody.

Oh my gosh Cindy, before I read your comments I was almost going to say that. I visited Turkey in '92 and met a really nice man named Tamer who lived in Cappadocia. And all the rock formations looked like mushroom caps.

I too like this image better than the first as well because you get to enjoy more of the formations, and the perception line creates nice depth. I like that the sky is a bit overcast with just a hint of sunshine. It has the ancient and sacred feeling of a "Stonehenge". Great picture!

I love this, the angle you used together with the warm tones make a wonderful contrast against that moody sky. Excellent.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Ran into this image as I was logging in just now and decided to take a closer look, boy am I glad. It is a very dramatic and eye grabbing image that deserves at least a 10.

The angle you have captured this place is the key success. Not to mention is a real wonder of nature and thanks for showing.
