I remember when you posted this before, but I don't remember a bad editing job, anyway, you've given this quite a treatment with the dark bruises of purple in the welkin, and it's effective. Not that lightening needs any embellishment, and except to leave a camera out and shutter open to catch the fireworks in the sky, I'm not sure how it's done, but you've done it well here and captured a lot of excitement in this presentation. :)PJ

It actually looks like a map with a river and tributaries. I wonder why the sky is always captured as purple in a lightening shot. It seems it would be difficult to capture just the right moment. I think it's great when someone gets a shot of lightening. Being such a brief thing, you don't really get to examine it unless it is in a photo.
