I saw it suggested to try and take a photo of a white egg on a white piece of paper, so i thought i would try it. Turned out to be a very simple image, that could go good on a desktop.

Simple, uncluttered.. attractive for a desktop, but I'm afraid it would make me hungry everytime...thinking hardboiled here..lol...please tell me it's a raw egg :)PJ

Having fun with lighting and angles I see. I admire this image for that fact. I've not delved into this area of photography much myself, so this is rather inspiring. I think I would prefer a bit softer light that is creating the strong downward shadow...how, I have no idea;-) Good work Milo!

Egg-cellent and egg-citing! Love the shadow cast by the egg. I guess it's all in the lighting. Did you use salt to make the egg stand up?

Amazing to understand how such a simple thing can create beauty. You have to avoid that harsh shadows next time ok? :)

Reminds me of a song with the lyrics, "...no one notices the contrast of white on white..." (song: Round here Artist: Counting Crows). I like this simple image. It's orginal and simple, just the way I like it.

If ya time it right.....you can actually get the egg to stand up. Takes a couple tries, but it is possible. Spring and fall equinox. But, that would be too simple wouldn't it? lol Great shot.

Another example of less being more. Excellent work, so simple yet so elegant. Great DT.

I have tried this experiment myself and can say without a doubt that your results were better (by far) than mine. Very nice work. Jas
