I took this picture the same evening as the two small falls shots in my gallery. It started raining, so i snapped this before i ran for cover. This has been sitting on my hardrive untouched for some time, but i just stumbled across it again and did some work to it.

wow!! What a treat for the new year. This is awesome Milo. The sharpness and the focus of this shot is top notch and the long exposure adds the real mood in to it.

I see why you stumbled across it. There are so many big rocks! lol I love the way you made the water slow down in its passage.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

this shot has some really neat aspects, the sky is really weird in a good way, the rocks are awesome, i love the rain thats just starting to fall on them making them specled. the sharpness is perfect, but the water is really weak in this one. usually looking upstream somehow makes the water look better, nonetheless the composition is great, this is one of those pictures that you say, so close to being a favourite, everything is great, except one aspect.

PS i really like those little orange leaves in the centre.

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

At one time or another, someone always asks, "If you could be anywhere else right now, where would that be?" simple. Right there where you took this photo. It's tack-sharp enough to make me feel like I'm really there and not in this mind-numbing office. I've created my own screen saver composed of images that all have water in them, in one form or another. that's where a saved copy of this one is going, thank you. Faved, too.
