I took a drive out to my cabin, which is uncommon for this time of year and came back with a card full of pictures. This is one of the many i took down by the river.

Looks like Jack Frost made an appearance and you caught him. Beautiful natural fractal!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Great macro! I find the many varied patterns in this type of crystalization facinating. Beautiful art in itself. You did well in caturing this.

awesome, i love the detail, the hint of something behind the frost, and the tonal range. the only problem i have is the top bit, its really boring and convoluted, i think i woulda cropped so its a little panroamic and maybe left off a little of the left side as well. what was the frost built up on?
