This is the road behind my cabin. The sun was well on its way down casting some interesting light. I stuck it behind the sign so i didn't get flared out like crazy and snapped a few shots. I was pretty happy with this one. f/11 - 1/200 sec @10mm

I'd have been happy with it too. The lighting and clarity are wonderful! It makes for a very interesting post.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

The natural scenery is so beautiful and the sign is so ugly in its midst. Yet it is very much a part of this scene for me because I tend to putt-putt drive in snow. Lovely post.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

you need to do something to balance the brightness in this one. the flash is great, however it unbalances the right side. i did a 4 minute layer-jobey in PS, see my email, it looks crappy in the trees, but that is the kind of thing i'd try to do to get the picture balanced.

Just a thought here..what if you had hidden the lens behind a tree limb instead of the sign to cut back on the lens flare? Something a little more natural, because the sky and the reflecting sunshine look so pretty here, and ..well, I'm not a fan of signs...otherwise I find this very attractive.
