I'm starting to really enjoy Peggy's Cove. She certainly knew how to pick 'em. I am glad you left the person in this view. It gives it a contemplative feel and draws me into the picture even further !
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
This is a very tranquil and peaceful photo. I love the internal contrast too. The old boathouse gives it a rustic feel, and there appears to be a housing project on the hill, which ties it to the modern day world. It's a classic meeting of two totally different worlds.
