Basic photograpy lesson nr 1 :remove your lenscap..
No problems with this shot, Michael. It is quite clear, well composed and quite beautiful, but I believe this is a Rhodededron.

Believe you me, Cindy is the resident expert on many types of flowers, so she's probably right, although they are very close cousins..kissing cousins, I believe. I love this shot and I'm glad you put it up as my bushes are doing nothing in the line of leaving flowers :( Nice clarity.
