Reminds me of 'The Hobbit', when Bilbo is talking about how three trolls turned to stone when the morning sun came up.

Perhaps this is an amphibian version, called "The Hoppit".

Nice. Good level of detail, crisp focus throughout. A tad bit of over-exposure here and there, but difficult to avoid with this type of shot. The light and the shadows add interest to the composition. I suspect the c-index score will be more of a reflection on whether or not people care for the subject matter than the technical aspects, which are rather good.

I love the light and shadow play... everything stands out so nicely, as Rich said, well focused and clear... Niiice one!

This one needs to go full screen so you can really appreciate the level of detail in the shot. I, too, thought of "The Hobbit" when I first saw this. Fun shot, and a must download for anyone interested in doing a little clay or wax molding this winter when it is too cold to go outside. Like me. :)

The soft, direct lighting is perfect. Very nice, Crystal!

I agree with rp64's comments. Photo is crisp, and the light and shadow play are very good. A little overexposed in some areas, but hard to avoid. If I were in the VB, I would definitely give this a 9, and possibly a 10.

As nicely composed a photo as can be. It just works - all that needs be said. Well done.
