Neither do I but they're lovely, and they have such a sweet pale color to them.

Nicely done...the colors and the focus work well together!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

If you have Mary and PJ saying they are good, you have it made. They are two of the best on this site. Good soft shot. Welcome to Caedes.

I'm not sure what these dainty little flowers are either, but they sure are pretty. Wonderful lighting & I like the soft focus. Very nicely captured.

I agree. They are very pretty. One suggestion I might offer is to move them a little further off to the right. I think that would add a lot to this already fine image.

God has created fantastic beauty for us to photograph and fantastic photographers to bring out that beauty in unique ways.

I know just what type of flower this is: A Very Beautiful One.

I agree with Ryan /\, moving it off center would really top this off. Remember the Rule of Thirds and try and put your subject on one of the cross lines of the tic-tac-to grid.

Having said that, this is a GREAT post. The control of the DOF is superb, the focus is soft enough to give the post a gentle feel, yet sharp enough to retain all the detail and the colors are simply lovely. The light and shadow add interest. This is far and away your best post yet.

~~And what was that you told me about your posts never being as beautiful as mine? LOL, it appears you took 4 whole posts to soar right past me!~~

I think this is probably a fushia plant though in a color combination I have never seen before. You're off to a good start and I would suggest only as Rich made mention of above and that is to get the subject into the 'magic' 2/3rds part of the frame.
