Hi Christina, A beautiful day for sailing, and you captured an extremely pleasant scene. I feel it could have had much more impact, had you included some small portion of the boat in the foreground, and best of all, if you could have turned into yhe scene, leaned outside the rail, and incorporated just a small portion of the bow and bow wake. This would give motion and impact to a static scene, however beautiful.
I say this because you were on your dad's boat, and could exercise some control over your camera position, and possibly the diection of the boat, and that's a rare advantage.
Hope you're enjoying your Rebel. I love them.
