This guy's eyes made me laugh when I first saw this... it is as if he is looking up and saying, "hey! get that camera out of my face!" haha... it did turn out a bit blurry at the bottom (I'm sure you noticed)... looks like you could still use a bit of practice to figure how to get the whole thing in focus.... in the meantime, I'm envisioning this as part of some really cool manipulation... thanks for sharing. :-) And have fun with your new camera!

The boss-eyed knight! I know what you mean. I did take another picture with a better depth of field but it was too deep and the background had too much detail. I'd have preferred a better balance with the chin just in focus and the rest out, but I didn't get it. Maybe next time.

This is cute. I think the blurring would work if you only blurred the very bottom. If you kept the neck and face in focus that'd be pretty neat. Still pretty cool.
