My first (and possibly only) submission in the "Draw a Frog" contest. For those of you who aren't up on their taxonomy, "salientian" means "any of various tailless stout-bodied amphibians with long hind limbs for leaping; semiaquatic and terrestrial species" (Includes frogs). I thought this fractal flame captured the spirit and-laid back, yet focused attitude of frogs. Please keep any open mind. Criticism welcome.

laid back frogs huh? :-) when i first saw this thumbnail I thought you were aiming at the markings/texture of a frog but after reading your description i'd say it works in both respects. well done for taking a tangent and not being too obvious about it. high marks from me.

This is absolutely my favorite entry in the contest. It is gorgeous and I've made it my new desktop. I knew what it was when I first saw the thumbnail and I love the way you've captured the watery essence of frogs. Excellent job!

My favorite frogs. I have seen many frogs but these frogs are the best. Kudos to you for coming up with an idea so abstract yet so basic.

Froggy, huh? Well, I can see the analogy, but I like it for its own sake. Kudos.

Nice to see an abstract entry here! A pretty good one, too - beautiful green and a quite unusual fractal. Frogs' legs and frogs' eyes. Makes me think of camouflage and search for the frogs among the undergrowth and on the lily pads.
