Very strange and interesting. Not sure I'd want this as a desktop, but the image is fascinating in its own right. It makes me think of insect wings and things seen under microscopes, of natural history collections and museums on rainy days...
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
I enjoy things like this...especially when the choice is dark lines against a light background. Most of this glyph is centered, so if I'm working on something, I'm not distracted when I use it as a background.
It's not too bad, but in my opinion the black on the white background here is just a bit too stark. It's just a little too white to go with your design. You either need a softer background color or to work your fractal more, so you get more of a design, bigger, more lines, more flowing.
Or, if you're going completely avant garde modern & very very stark, then maybe firming up your design, making your lines bolder, stronger, & at the same losing a couple of them, giving your fractal a more masculine feel, is the way to go.
Judging from your skill here, & your other uploads, it's easy to see that you're unafraid to try new forms and colors, so I'm sure we're in for treats from you in the future ! Keep fractaling ... I'm looking forward to seeing what you produce !
