This is interesting. I'm guessing that this was taken through glass into a tank - at the zoo/aquarium? The tail behind shows what the hidden part looks like, but the main subject is still not quite satifying to me. These are not easy conditions to shoot, but I would like to see, more depth of field and sharpness, a natural background and more of the foreground fish. Keep working at it.

"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free." If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.

They bite? They look so sweet in an ugly sort of way! Great capture! Pretty clear pic for a water shot...those seem to challenge me the most. Thank you for sharing this fascinating creature!

An interesting subject, to say the least, and great colour saturation in the water. I can tell you had to zoom in a bit, which gives a bit of a flat feeling to the shot. Try waiting just that split second longer to hit the shutter so that we get to see more of the dino-fish next time! -cheers,kim

Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table, because Chuck Norris only recognizes the element of surprise.

i agree with whats been said so far basicly a different angle would be good, but as we all no thats not always easy, with a little work this could be a really good shot.

Hi Cal, this is a nice shot, but like all of our images, by incorporating different techniques, they can be made better, agreed? I think perhaps experimentation might be a key word! I know that shooting into an aquarium is very hard to do! I have enjoyed viewing your gallery and found that you have some great images, for instance, I especially enjoyed "Kitty" and "Bobcat"! So continue to share more of your work with us, as I would enjoy that very much and thank you! Sincerely, Marilyn
