Nice capture. Good lighting and focus. Neat-lookin' place. There's a place in New Hampshire that's a lot like this, but the water is icy cold.

This water is icy cold also, but in the heat of summer it is so refreshing!

Nice location. Out of personal interest, I'd be curious to see what this would look like with a low-light long-term exposure (say >1/2 sec). Moonlight would add a nice touch to it as well.... *snaps out of day-dream*
Looks like a good place to spend a hot-summers day, though I have no idea how hot it actually gets there! If you are looking for possible ways to improve the photo (possible since you can’t truly know until you try!), more even lighting would be an asset (when the sun is directly above, or behind the camera if the orientation is right), though this might brighten the path on the left to the detriment of this photos notable serenity. A shorter exposure or smaller aperture (or even playing around with the ISO or white balance) might make the trees greener, if you would like to give it such a look.
All things considered though, this is an excellent photo!

It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered....
