i really like it! i think it would be nice to crop some of the darkness near the bottom, but other than that, fantastic! it's like a dark, serene, soft dream

I agree this photo would really benefit with a crop. I love the reflection in the water though.

Just take the picture
No cheerful ducklings at play or querky squirrel to entertain in this shot.
However, the reflections on the still waters give an impressionist quality, and I can warm to that.
Personally, some final editing to perhaps crop the picture into a narrower landscape ratio would prune away some of the weighty darkness in the foreground.
I'm hestant to sugggest software to smooth away some of the grain, as in this situation, the courseness is a function of this brooding setting. And you might loose the star reflected in the waters.
I think I just talked myself into adding this one as a favorite!
