I would think their nest is way up high? Like an Eagles nest?
But this one looks like it's literally on the ground! That nest looks so "un" soft....What a most precious find for you for a rare photo!! Really lovely. I got it in the VB and was so surprised at how young they are. I sure hope the Mama bird was near by to protect them from harm.

It was 15 feet over the water! I had my camera taped to my 8 ft long boat paddle! I almost fell in water as I stood to hold it high! the mama bird was really anxious for me to leave so I did not stay around long
