This is a picture of my Mothers day Boot! I am trying to use a variety of software to achieve this look. This is a first attempt to make a tall picture conform to the size of Caedes. Did it work? Thanks for stopping by. PS I did rework this photo, please check out The Boot 2, thanks!

I like this very much. Love the plant growing in the old boot. BUt I think if you put either a black frame around it or even one the colour of the boot..would bring out the beauty of this shot much more than the green, I fiind it very distracting...other than that this is very pretty.

The photo is a charming collection of items and all in all it is very nicely done with the different textures...the only change I might make would be the green frame...either, as Verena suggested, a change of color, or perhaps a thinner border...otherwise, a great job on this Donna...hope you'll do some more.:Pat.

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)

I think its a clever idea to use an old boot as a planter. Nice picture. I like the green border, but think if it was slimmer it would draw more atention to the image. This is a very creative pic. I like it.

I tend to agree about the border. I usually take a light color from the images and use as the border. I also only use about a 2 pixel width for the border size. The image is, like Pat said, a very charming photo. Has a very old country feel to it - which I like. I personally, think that the background used was a bit too much. Something more toned down to let the attention be focused on the image.
