In the early colonial exploration of Australia there was a (misguided) belief that there was a vast inland sea to be discovered. More than one explorer died searching for it. When we are looking for the thing we "need" to see we often fail to see what IS there to be seen. This image shows the only semblance of an inland sea you'll find on my continent.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Love the colour tone in this, composition is superb, and the long grass swaying in the breeze just tops it off, a very nice image indeed.

Mark.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

I can just imagine the waves the "sea" makes in the breeze... pretty Mikel, it reminds me of walking through the mountainous fields in California when I was a child. Of course my shoelaces would be covered in burs when I got back, ha ha, but I loved being out there :)

What an interesting, golden "sea" it is. Looks like much to explore here.

Psalm 1:3 "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."

love the simpleness of the shot, the light it lovely simple it may be but it makes me think of the sound of grass, the peacefulness of the countryside, and trying to remember what sun feels like! lol, it seems a long time with no sun here.
