Out the back of my suburb is farmland and this old post fence in a small cattle loading yard. Pentax K20D and DA*16-50mm at 16mm. Two versions from the raw, one for sky, one for fence, blended by hand.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Who would have thunk it. Superb shot. The sky and foreground really compliment each other here. I decided to put this on my desktop! Thanks.

Nice angle Mikel !!
I like the texture and the purple color of this shot makes it unreal.
Great work, my friend.

Nicely done, Mikel! The contrast here are amazing and the perspective makes me feel as if I could just stroll into the scene and have a look around!

Gave it a 9. If it had fiery chariots it'd be a 10 for sure. :D

Boy Howdy, if I had ever had a chance to vote on this one it would be a ten. It's amazing how skilled you are at merging differently processed images. I try, but you succeed!

This really looks great Mikel. I love the angle. Corral tells a story by itself. Excellent work and the score should have been higher.

Hello Mike...Fantastic....The use of light and the large post in the foreground is superb...To me you are not looking but you are SEEING and that is the sign of a very good photographer....The cooler blue in the sky and the warm colours on the land really compliment each other....Well done Mike....All the best to you....Mick.
