Another shot of the region between Belconnen and Weston Creek. This one I messed with to emphasize the lambent light of dusk across the sun tanned landscape here in Australia at Christmas time. Seeing all the wonderful snowy Christmas season shots here on Caedes made me think of the contrast. So I guess this is kind of an Aussie Seasons Greetings photo to all my Caedes mates. Peace to All. This one needs to go full screen to appreciate the light and shadow patterns going on. Nice big view of big country. However, I think it needs more of a focal point than the clump of trees in the mid-right, and the half-tree on the left bothers me a bit. Where's a team of horses pulling a wagon when you want one?

This is like the sort of image you get in a dreamy movie. Excellent composition and makes a nice desktop.
