This is a hdr5 rework of THIS shot from of the coast of Koh Chang, Thailand. The two shots have very different emotive qualities, interesting to compare them.

Enjoy.

It's beautiful Mikel. I think this one has more pop to it.....the colors are more vivid:)

Great.. both of them have their own dramatic feel, this one just seems meaner and stronger. Great work! :)

Both are excellent in their own way. The original tends to convey a more thoughtful and less threatening mood image, while the additional detail and tonal range in the HDR version is more powerful, formidable and dramatic.
Since they're the same image, the sea is "left" tilted a degree or so, Mikel :-)

These are more menacing, but I think I prefer the first image. The clouds are incredible no matter which post though.

I saw this one first and after viewing them both I tend to prefer the original. It has a softer more surreal look.
The colours in both are wonderful.

I do remember the first version. I like both, especially the colors. I wonder if what your eyes saw was closer to this.. Dramatic energy.

I like them both, I'd probably blend the two. Borrow the colors and contrast from the HDR but restore some of the reality of the original.

Excellent shot, Mikel! I like the colors and sharp contrast in this image. I also like how the HDR adds a bit more menace and drama to the sky. Well done!
