Don't you dare make a serious promise like that. I will guarantee you an afterlife burning in the ovens of hell while being poked with hot embers made from rusty bolts by demons made of weathered wood.
Your two primary components kin this shot are my favorites. There is nothing like rust or weathered wood, and you combined them both beautiful. Textures lead the way. Phenomenal. Colors are a very, very close second. Fabulous. Composition runs a close third. Totally excellent.
However, you might consider a panoramic version of this. Also instead of a plan view shooting at 90° to the subject, I think you should consider a vertical posting using an extremely obtuse angle so that you lose focus and texture. Caviar.
Yeah. The textures are great. I see a wrinkled forehead and eye socket with a bolt in it. Made me wonder why anyone would drill a bolt hole in a up and coming knot hole without a giant washer. Love the shot, and keep them coming.
Figured it out. No washers and had to use spread wire about 100 years ago.
Mikel, if the bolt wouldn't have been there, would have said that you've made a macro capture of the eye of an old elephant, lol. But now I've to 'hurt' my imagination to find any resemblance with some subject. Fine and creative image though. Seen and captured very well.
