The blue tones are because all of this water was in late afternoon shadows and my post processing worked with those tones. I am endlessly fascinated by the qualities of water.
I think you're becoming a minimalist, but in a good way. Can't think of a thing I would change to improve this shot. With the added exposure time, I'm surprised the little branch in the background was so steadfast. The little dip on the right adds a remarkable amount of depth to this shot.
Not sure how I would fix this or if it should be fixed, but the sliver of dark water at the top of the shot puts me off just a tad. Just a personal preference on that part of this beautiful shot.
Mikel, the by you chosen exposure time gives me the feeling that I viewing to a flooding. The branch is too far away to provide that one will be dragged by the fast flowing water.
The longer exposure shots on water are always fun ;) Nicely done Mikel. Although I feel like the branch should be included a little more and feels slightly misplaced in the perspective but I suppose if you included the top of the branch it might throw off the placement of the nice little dip in the water or include an unwanted back ground. I love the blue tones and the angle on the water. A very pleasant image overall :)
