Saddell Bay in Scotland on the Kintyre Peninsula. My good mate Dave contemplating his place in a very large world while I hare around camera in hand taking photos, observing rather than enjoying the wonder laid out before us. When I do stop and put the camera down views like this pull me out of myself, wrap up my naked soul in wonder and drown in me in the truth of the sheer scale of creation and existence. Sitting where Dave is sitting always calms me way way down. :) Oh, the circular stone wall is a "Dun" - dotted all over Kintyre they are basically a poor man's castle, the skeleton of a fortified circular house from centuries ago. This one was in pretty good condition.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

"A Sense of Scale and Wonder" T'is that alright, Mikel. A lovely vista. A single thing you might consider, would be cloning Dave to the seat between the trees on the far left.
That will have him contemplating into the entire scene, and the viewers eyes follow, without being drawn out of the picture.
