If I have time this is definitely my entry to the "calming" contest. (Nope, didn't happen, it took too long for my image to get moderated and activated or whatever it is, never showed up in the drop down menu on the contest entry page, that's what happens when you leave things to the last 24 hours!) An Apophysis fractal.

Something similar is what filled my mind to portray calmness although I had no idea how to make an image to match.

Sorry it didn't get into the contest on time...the gentle flowing waves are very calming and I like the color palette.
