This is obviously not one of my shots, it is a NASA astronaut photo taken on May 15 this year. It shows the sunglint of a low laying setting sun on the waters of the coast of Chile and the interplay of low clouds and their shadows on the water. I accessed via NASA's Earth Observatory, a true treasure chest of images and knowledge about our planet. NASA requires only that we acknowledge them when we repost these shots. I enriched the saturation and the contrast somewhat, as is my tendency. The reason I'm posting a NASA shot, and may post a couple more, is that I am in hospital using a new laptop that does not have any of my archive on it, so I have nothing of my own to post. (Hmmm he says to himself, I guess I could roam the hospital trying to take beautiful or truthful pictures with my phone cam. hmmmm, no, I don't think I have the energy for that tough a project. he he.) My hospitalisation is serious but not currently life threatening, I might be home as soon as Wednesday or Thursday if all goes well. Sorry to all my friends who I'm not commenting on or anything.

Enjoy.

Mikel.
